The Modern National Public School aims at offering all our students a broad and balanced curriculum that provides rewarding and stimulating activities to prepare them for the best social and cultural life.
Visual Arts Club
The club encourages students to bring their imagination to life, by creating experiences that develop the knowledge of materials and processes as starting points for creative exploration through paint, paper and even sculpture. The club invites students to look at colours, shapes, textures and designs differently.
Performing Arts Club
Through the performative mediums of dance, drama and theatre, the club fuses performative elements to nurture a love for active expression in the students. Narrative dance forms, plays and performances are given original interpretations through the club. The Club is open to contemporary, classical and western performative modes and trains students to excel in the form of their choice.
Adventure Camp
Adventure aims at increasing productivity, encourages students to work in different working environments, builds team spirit, friendship and trust amongst each other. Students’ journey through an academic session is incomplete without some co-curricular fun activities. We regularly organize Adventure camps for our students.
Tour and travels
The purpose of the travel club is to educate students about travel and prepare them for success in a society, while also making travel accessible to all students interested in traveling. Throughout the school year, we will educate students, by discussing many topics related to our destination including: cultural and social norms, history, language, architecture, famous people and accomplishments, art, and travel safety. The visit would serve as a capstone tying everything together in a unique and unforgettable experience
Dramatics and declamation
The aim of the club is to inculcate among students a love for language and enhance their literary skills.
The club will provide a platform for:
Debating :- To encourage students to become orators to display their intellectual and independent thinking skills and imbibe a sense of confidence.
Speech and Drama:- To promote communication skills of students and help in teamwork ,ability to speak and emote before an audience thereby increasing the emotional quotient of the students.
Journalism:- To promote the ability to organize and analyze the available resources and adopt technological advancements to present ideas, creativity and artistically.
Music and Dance
The Modern National Public School provides training in a variety of disciplines in music and dance which the children have freedom to choose from. They can opt for Indian Classical- Western dance and fusion. The musical instruments include drums, tabla, congo, dholak, guitar, sitar, violin. In vocal there are Western, Hindustani classical and light fusion to choose from. The school has dedicated and gifted teachers in the faculty to ignite and sustain the creative spark in the students. The universal language of music and dance forms helps students from across communities to bond and provides the perfect nutriment for the mind, body and soul.
Art and Craft
The Modern National Public Schools’ Art and Craft program connects creativity and innovation at an early stage of children’s development. The program is designed to build skills, develop competencies and provide resources that support creative learning for our students. Most importantly, it gives children the chance to use their imagination. Drawing, Painting, Craft, Origami, Photography, Creative writing, Calligraphy, Candle Making are some of the activities included in the program.
Personality Development
The students who are encouraged to merely focus on academics are dumb and under confident. Students can never be trained to beat the competition of the real world only by imparting bookish knowledge. Along with education, personality development holds significance to run in the race of life.
Athletics
Our students are passionate about sports and athletics and have the freedom to choose the one they like and wish to take up. We also participate in inter-school, district, state and national level competitions.
In-house Publications
We have several writers who are encouraged to come up with creations that are regularly published in our in-house magazines. We host a book sale every 2 years to promote our writers and their work.
Performing Arts & Music
With professionals on board, we take pride in training our students in art forms like dance, drama, painting and more. We organize exhibitions, concerts and musical events to encourage our students to own their talent and flourish in those fields.
